Wondering about our wedding plans? Us too!
Originally we were planning to have the wedding on Oahu on July 4th. However all that has changed.
Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, we have decided to move the date to April 28th (tentatively) and the venue to New York City.
This is all still evolving and we’ll try to post the latest news on our wedding site:
Sincerest of apologies to anyone who had made plans for the Hawaii date but this was unforseeable and unavoidable.
Happy Birthday to the girl who knows that being cool means being yourself!
Well… and having cool clothes and cool shoes and cool hair and all the rest, ya know!
Have a great day!
Happy Birthday!!!!
OK, so it’s more like 6574 days over 29 but who’s counting?!!
PS: Can’t you people spread your birthdays out more? This is starting to look like the “Nardelli Birthday Blog”!
A little Birthday rhyme for you:
A Happy Birthday wish,
From all of us to you,
Its a sentiment so nice,
You can write it on your shoe!
Happy Birthday!!!!
I was talking to my boss about our trip to Hawaii and I happened to mention that God forbid anyone should be able to tell whether Dad is having a good time. You know the way he always has this puss on his face like someone just stole his ice cream or something.
Upon hearing this my boss actually had the nerve to say,
“Well that explains it, it must be genetic!”
I have never been so offended in my life!
Just kidding Dad!
Upon return from vacation Denise was noted to be sporting a sparkly object on her left hand.
Through cutting edge image enhancement, we have confirmed she is wearing what appears to be an engagement ring.
When questioned regarding the rumours, the couple confirmed that they are indeed engaged.
Further details will follow as they become available.
Hi Guys,
I finally got into this site. I wanted to wish Asheley a Happy Birthday before this but I forgot how to get into the website. I hope she had a day full of fun and goodies to feast on.
Love,
Nanny and Sir
Well, summer break is over and its back to school again.
Yesterday was Asheley’s first day. She survived.
It got me thinking about what we did over summer vacation. We stayed close to home since we went to Hawaii in May.
We went horseback riding. Yes, the horse survived.
We went hiking. We survived.
We went to the Jelly Belly factory and took the tour (and ate Jelly Belly’s). Jelly Belly’s apparently have only one ingredient, sugar.
We went to the Lick Observatory.
You can see it from San Jose but its way up on a mountain 20 miles away.
We went to the Aloha Festival in San Francisco
And finally Vegas. My wallet survived.
I know Mom and Dad moved, what did everyone else do?
Bye!
Hey, All!
Katie, Beth and Rebecca are back from our Habitat for Humanity trip in Virginia with all fingers and toes accounted for! Beth worked primarily on the construction of a shed (more like a cottage), Katie helped install the kitchen floor (wood veneer type stuff), and Rebecca did a lot of painting and odd jobs on site. We took some pictures, but I think the best ones will come from the group’s achivist’s DVD so we will wait for those to post the photos. Hope you all are enjoying your summer! Soon we are off to Chautauqua.
Did they teach ya Deulin’ Banjos? Seriously though, I always wanted to do that but around here they don’t want volunteers, just money.
Oh, you know, in addition to putting photos in your post, you can upload a gallery of your photo’s in the photo gallery (your login is the same). Just click on “Visit the photo gallery” on the right.
July 23rd, 2006 at 11:23 amNo, no dueling banjo’s… maybe next year!
We have a local Habitat organization where you can just go volunteer, but I have not yet joined that group. Think I might look into it though… try to fit it in around my theater schedule.
Thanks for the tip on posting the photos… I might need to call you for a tutorial when it come time to load them – need get the DVD and Dave’s computer first, though.
Check out Asheley climbing!
She’s participating in the ROPES course at the summer program she attends. They teach basic climbing skills using traverses and wires on telephone poles.
Wish they had this when I was a kid but I think I would have been too chicken to go up there.
Asheley looks really cool climbing that post… I am pretty sure I’d love it… I love getting to climb the truss towers we set up for shows! Go for it Asheley!
July 23rd, 2006 at 11:41 amOk, It seems harmless enough…. Now what. Can we post photos and stuff or just blog each other….
Wow! I never knew my family was so technically challenged. I guess I should\’ve suspected based on my inability to use something as simple as the telephone.
You can post photos (here or in the gallery), order prints from shutterfly, leave entries about important events, etc.. And don\’t forget to visit the Photo Gallery from the links on the left. I set up accounts for you with the same usernames/passwords.
July 9th, 2006 at 8:39 pmOK, Robert… You have always known I was technically challenged! I am the one referred to as being practically AMISH! I might have never blogged before, but I bet you’ve never spun a chicken, either!
I have not yet told the girls that they can download photos here… we need to get Rebecca to download a couple she’s taken with her phone. Do you remember when the phone was attached to the wall with a rotary dial and, if you were lucky, you could dial someone up and talk to them, if they were home to answer the call? I still have one of those.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!
For your birthday we created this website for the whole family to use and to help us to keep in touch. I’m hoping we can get everybody to register so they can leave entries, comments, upload pictures, whatever…
Hope it works!
Love, Robert, Denise and Asheley!
Hi Robert… just figuring this out… never “blogged” before. Looks like this could be fun. I went to Scobobby, too, and found that the orignal link is to the “tired” layout? Hmm…the new one is so sedate… is that what being a SCOBOBBY is really all about – LOL!
July 10th, 2006 at 11:20 amHi Robert,
Look I got this far, whats next?
July 13th, 2006 at 1:58 pmHi Mom,
Congratulations. Maybe the Nardelli’s aren’t as technically challenged as I originally thought!
You could try creating a main entry from the ”dashboard”. You could even… dare I say it… try to upload a picture within a post or in the gallery. Give it a try. The worst that can happen is it won’t work. If it does you’ll have shown yourself to be more technically savvy than either Scott or Beth.

Saw the rumor about the ring on Denise’s finger, it’s true, I saw it with my own two eyes. It’s beautiful, it’s a keeper.
Congratulations to you both.
